Good to Know
The GE centre in Fallowfield has a student led Minyan during semester as well as a social hall where events are held by Jsoc and other Jewish organizations.
Chabad hosts Shabbat and Holiday meals every week during the semester. There is no charge for students. While not required, RSVP is appreciated.
Need a Mezuzah for you room or flat? For £20 you receive a mezuzah for your dorm or apartment (case included). At the end of the year, you decide: keep it, or return it & get your money back.
DD's Kosher sandwiches are available at the Student Union Shop, Steve Biko Building.
Chabad has a small Kosher shop where we stock a selection of meat and cheeses. For more kosher products students can simply text 'GE FOOD' followed by your order to 07786 202 240 and Titanics will deliver it on Fridays.There is no minimum spend and all orders receive a 10% discount.
Orders arrive on Friday afternoon (subject to demand, more days maybe added) to the GE Centre. All orders must be places by midnight Wednesday to guarantee delivery. All orders are paid for on collection.

The University of Manchester has set aside a small number of flats for Kosher use at Oak House in Fallowfield. Students living in these flats will have requested a Kosher environment and as such will be expected to adopt the appropriate lifestyle.
